Premier League side Sarawak have been ordered by the Malaysian FA’s (FAM) Status Committee to pay RM118,000 (around USD28,800) in compensation to two of their former players. In the committee’s meeting on December 21, Thursday, the Sarawak FA was found to have wrongfully terminated the contracts of winger Thanaraj Kumarasamy and goalkeeper Iqbal Suhimi. The pair had played for the Crocodiles in the 2016 season. According to the committee’s statement, Sarawak must now pay Thanaraj RM60,000 and Iqbal RM58,000 within 30 days, or the cases will be escalated to the FAM Disciplinary Committee....

Sarawak has replaced the services of Mark Hartmann with Milos Raickovic as they go in search of improving their fortunes in the Super League as well as providing a challenge in the Malaysia Cup. Raickovic, a midfielder from Montenegro moved from Buducnost Podgorica to Sarawak, having been with the PRVA Crnogorska Liga club since 2013. Raickovic had played 28 times for Podgorica in 2017 as Sarawak’s coach David Usop looks to shore up his midfield with his signing....

Swiss Info, a news platform produced by the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, reported on Monday the controversial capsule recently passed legal review for use. Around 1,300 people died by assisted suicide in Switzerland in 2020 using the method of ingesting liquid sodium pentobarbital, Swiss Info reported.
