Taiwanese company Gigabyte is the world’s leading motherboard manufacturer, creating products at various price points for both Intel and AMD platforms. However, the company develops and designs other computer components, including graphics cards, and recently it has started producing gaming-focused peripherals and other gamer gear, including monitors, mice, and keyboards.

The Gigabyte Radeon RX 6600 Eagle 8G is a mid-range gaming GPU, which is based on the RDNA2 architecture by AMD and is one of the more affordable options in the Radeon RX 6000 Series. It is in fact the lowest-priced RDNA2 GPU developed with TSMC’s 7 nm technology. The graphics card features 8 gigabytes of GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit interface that provides a 224 Gbps bandwidth. The card has two DisplayPort 1.4a and two HDMI 2.1 ports, both supporting 4K resolution up to 120 Hz.
The cooling solution is Gigabyte’s Windforce 3X, which has three fans with alternating spinning directions. This creates less turbulence and better airflow which in turn improves the thermal performance. There are also other features in play when it comes to cooling the GPU. The 3D design of the blades allows the fan to move air more efficiently while the graphene nano lubricant keeps the fan going for longer and quieter. Screen Cooling on the other hand allows better airflow through the GPU’s heat sinks, which improves heat dissipation.
